Winter is the best time to build a deck

During the winter months, deck construction demand is typically much lower. That means scheduling is easier, start dates move up significantly, and pricing is often more favorable. By building in the winter, your deck is finished and ready to enjoy as soon as spring arrives.
Contractors who work year-round are prepared for winter conditions and plan accordingly. Not every contractor builds decks in winter, many do—so it’s worth asking
