Hardwood restoration and a treatment that feeds the wood.
We’re not just restoring your deck. We are extending its life and saving the planet. Ipe, mahogany and other hardwoods brought back properly, then kept that way on a plan you can price up front.
The deck you have is probably worth keeping.
Ipe and the other Brazilian hardwoods go grey on the surface, but the board underneath is usually as dense and sound as the day it went down. Tearing that out to buy new material is the expensive answer and the wasteful one. Restoring it costs a fraction of a rebuild and keeps forty years of hardwood out of a dumpster.
That is the whole case behind saving the planet. It is not a slogan. It is what happens when a hardwood deck gets restored instead of replaced.
Seal or stain
Forms a film on the surface. Looks good for a season, then wears through in the traffic lanes, peels at the edges and has to be stripped before the next coat.
Champion treatment
Tung oil penetrates the board and feeds it. Excess is wiped off, nothing builds up, nothing peels. When it is time again, it is washed and treated, never stripped.
Inspect. Grade. Price. Then the plan takes over.
Every hardwood deck goes through the same four steps, in this order. The price comes from what the inspection finds, not from a flat number per square foot.
A 45-minute on-site inspection. Species confirmed by us, not by the name it was sold under. Boards, fasteners, framing, stairs, rail, drainage, sun exposure.
The checklist places your deck in one of four restoration grades, from a light refresh to a rebuild.
Restoration is priced to the grade. Board and joist replacements are listed on the face of the proposal so you see exactly what you are paying for.
Once the restoration is done, Deck Pro Care keeps it there. One annual price, no more guessing about maintenance.
Four grades. The inspection decides which one.
Refresh
Sound boards, treatment still holding in places. Wash, light sand, one treatment. This is where a deck that lapsed off its plan lands.
Renew
Grey but sound, no old film. Wash and brightener, full sand of the walking surface, treatment.
Restore
Uneven boards, heavy checking, old finish, fasteners backing out. Everything in Renew plus a leveling sand, fastener reset and plug repair, and a handful of board replacements.
Rebuild and Restore
Structural work or board replacement beyond a handful, bracing, a section re-decked. Priced as a repair with Restore on top, per board and per joist.
Treated on a schedule the wood sets, not the calendar.
Tung oil soaks into the board, so a new or freshly restored deck takes it up fast at first and then settles down. The plan follows that curve.
Applied the day the build or restoration wraps.
A return visit while the wood is still drinking it in. Included with every Champion deck.
The plan starts here. Wash, inspect, treat.
Unless the inspection shows it does not need one. Then you are told, and you are not charged for it.
Three levels. Same treatment on every one.
Every level gets the full treatment. The levels differ in how often we come and what else we take care of while we are there. Pricing below is for pressure-treated decks; hardwood and composite are quoted from the inspection because the work is different.

An older deck joins the plan after a one-time restoration, priced from its inspection grade. Hardwood plans are quoted per deck.
Our ipe deck came back looking like the day it was built. I asked for the next treatment before Todd ever mentioned a plan.John H., ipe restoration, 870 SF, West Chester area
Book the inspection. The rest follows from it.
Text or call with your address and a sentence about the deck. We will set a morning visit, usually 10 am, and you will have a graded restoration price and your plan options within a few days.
Your address, roughly how old the deck is, what it was last finished with if you know, and a photo or two. If it is a hardwood deck, do not worry about the species. Confirming it is the first thing we do.
